Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner “Small Rose” Ref. 7928, serviced.
The Tudor 7928 stands out as the first reference to use crown guards on its case, paving the way to become one of the brand’s most iconic sports models that enjoyed an extensive production period starting around 1960 and continuing until approximately 1968.
This resulted in various implementations of the protective part of the case, as well as the dial’s layout, which served as a clear demonstration of the constant and dynamic evolution within the same reference. The present Tudor 7928 is an incredible opportunity to pick up something truly special without the hefty price tag usually associated with vintage Rolexes.

MODEL / REFERENCE: Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner reference 7928. The serial number 569XXX dates it to circa 1967.
DIAL: The matte black dial presents the small rose logo and intact silver print. The gilt open chapter and “T Swiss T” signature at 6 o’clock are still beautifully present. There is some light spotting and flaking from age, namely between the 4 and 5 o’clock indexes.
The Tritium markers are present and intact, they have aged to acquire a gorgeous beige tone with some black spots present on some of them.
The lume-coated handset is in gorgeous condition and has aged to a more pronounced yellow shade.
CRYSTAL: “super dome” crystal in very good condition with light visible wear.
CASE: The 39mm Oyster case is in very nice condition with strong lines and visible bevels. It shows clearly legible serial/reference numbers and normal signs of wear consistent with the age of the watch.
The Aluminum bezel insert is in outstanding condition. The luminous pearl is present, intact and shows some age-related discoloration.
CASEBACK: Signed Oyster case back that bears the reference number and VI.66 Stamps
CROWN: Signed Rolex crown that closes securely and operates as intended.
MOVEMENT: The self-winding Cal. 390 is in full working order and keeps goodtime. It currently receives a full service by our watchmaker.
BRACELET: Very good 9315 folded-links Oyster bracelet with signed clasp and 380 end-links.
ACCESSORIES: Saffiano Leather Watch Roll.
